Woodbine/Danforth. It's not traditional Spanish tapas, but they split their menu up into cold apps, hot veggie dishes, meat and seafood. I'm not a big meat-eater, and I always find lots of stuff to try there from the apps and warm veg. sections.

i came to this restaurant for a business/pleasure dinner. the service was good initially but we were slow to order as we enjoyed a bottle of cabernet. the place filled up quickly and the tapas were fabulous. the risotto was amazing! and the duck divine! chocolate polenta cake melts in your mouth and makes one moan with pleasure! great place...i'll be back soon!

Neighbourhood bistro with small tapa stype dishes great for sharing. Here's a link to the menu. I can personally vouch for the back ribs, gnocchi, duck and goat cheese crepes, white bean/duck/chorizo casserole, eggplant fritters, lamb empanadas and lobster potstickers. All are excellent! I've also trued the spinach and taleggio triangles and the polenta -- both were good but not remarkable.

my boyfriend and i moved into the area last july and were disappointed when we discovered that there weren't too many good places to eat in the area. but then relish opened. we finally visited it for the first time last week and it was amazing. the food was excellent -- they sell tapas-style dishes -- the service was friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. i would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for something fun and delish. also if you're looking for some great thai food -- you should check out basil thai just east of relish on the same side -- excellent thai food.

Just went to Relish for Tapas on Wednesday, and really enjoyed it . There were just three of us, but we got through a good variety. The things that others had complained of were not evident that evening, Service was quick and friendly and things came pretty much in the order we asked for them. Since the portions are qite small, you would probably need to order two of each. (unless there was a lot of alcohol involved) I know we all quite enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back. I realize it's not central, but it is on the subway, which may make it easier.

we decided to pick relish based on a review in the toronto star...we looved the restaurant and were soo happy not to travel many miles for a fine spot. thanks for opening on the otherwise drab danforth...don't want to nit pick but two things that weren't up to snuff was the reservation taken that never was..we waited an hour for a table. word of the wise to the wait staff, you don't tell a table that's been there all night (with a bill over $300) and obviously finished dining but winding it up, that you are closing and that you need to give us the bill...kindly wait.

fabulous place! it was our ladies night out, a few of the them have been here before and had raved about it. the space is long with windows that run along the left of the space, there are little candles on the tables and the lighting is kept low. the music was a mix of some lovely classics, a nice change to the current noise out there! the food is tapas, tasty little bits, that leave you wanting more! prices are great, it would be double downtown. i especially loved the ribs and the duck crepes with goat cheese. the server was very friendly and outgoing. he helped to make this one of the more memorable diners together. thanks relish!

we were visiting from out east, this restaurant was in the neighbourhood that we were staying in, and was recomended by our hosts, at a local b&b. the place was casual, bright, and inviting, the food was delicous! they were obviousily very busy, and the service was effected. we recommed it, although, they are still coming into their own.

we are visiting from out of town, and are staying in the area. the restaurant was recommended by a neighbour for a new place to eat, fairly new to the strip. it was fresh, colorful and tasty. our young waitress was attentive, and our experience was memorable. we will return, on our next visit to toronto. thanks!

very excited about this restaurant - relish a glimmer of new hope in in a stretch of the danforth which is sadly lacking in restaurants. i visited 2 weeks ago for a 'date' night with the boyfriend, and returned last week for an evening with a few friends. we enjoyed martinis and shared tapas style dishes. service was great, and everything we tried was delectable. the lobster potstickers are marvelous! the vibe is intimate, without being snobby, and there are quiet tables, and livlier spots in it too - definately worth a visit.
